Stop Pussy-Footing around Chelsea and go get this man!

With our search for a striker still having not turned up trumps, speculation is once again appearing in the media relating to Arsenal`s Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez.

Our associates over at the ESPN, are running with the story that Sanchez`s future at Arsenal is once again clouded in doubt.

Our referenced source is reporting that Sanchez has once again emphasised that he wants to play Champions League football, something that will not be happening at the Emirates next season courtesy of Arsenal finishing fifth in the Premier League.

If the 28-year-old is serious with regards to his latest inference doesn`t the perfect opportunity exist for Chelsea to grab the bull by the horns and offer Arsenal a wad of cash and the want-away Nemanja Matic to seal a deal.

Okay, Sanchez may not be an out-and-out striker in the mould of Diego Costa but the threat he presents to the opposition, as we found out in the FA Cup Final, would lift us to another level.

Do you concur with my thoughts or am I talking gibberish?

Unfortunately we have a club who it seems are frightened to take the next major step forward to becoming a super club, in seriously competing in the Champions league and to be one of the favourites, not to be just making up the numbers. We have a world class player in Sanchez on our doorstep, who has now made two statements. He wants to stay in London and he wants to play in the Champions league. 25m plus Matic, at least make an offer Chelsea and show some real ambition and intent. My guess, is that we will do nothing until Man City start bidding on the last day of the transfer window and by that time it will be too late. Typical Chelsea.

Sanchez will have to make special request before he can be sold to Chelsea and the price won't be funny. But Chelsea should still try their luck especially now that they are interested in Matic. But alas what do I know?
