Everton looking sign Loic Remy

Everton looking sign Loic Remy

There`s a story circulating this afternoon (Sunday) on Sky Sports that, subject of a recent poll, here on Vital Chelsea, Loic Remy could be leaving Stamford Bridge this summer.

The story goes on to say that Marseille, Southampton and, I can`t quite believe this, Everton are after our French striker.

Surely this has to be a wind-up. Everton can`t ever expect us to have any sort of dealings with them again. If our transfer board consider doing this for more time than it takes to read it, they are crazy.

Remy will head off with Chelsea to Asia this week but can expect to leave the club, assuming we purchase a striker or two.

Many consider the Toffee`s to have done us a favour by selling Lukaku to United, but their attitude during that process was ridiculous to say the least. Unprofessional and petty sums them up and if they think we`ll deal with them again, they surely cannot be serious!

String Everton along until the last day of he transfer window, then sell him elsewhere for less money.

What has that got to do with anything Jerry Blues ? .Supporters pay money, be it match day tix, merch, cable or satellite fee's. If someone does something that is not popular be it Cahill with an own goal, Costa causing behind the scenes mayhem or the board losing a player we tracked for months to a rival , than fans have a right to be upset, their money keeps the club going, nationalistic fervor is not a part and should not be a part of this . Now as to ME , no one was critical of him when the cream of our youth departed for first team footie, because we are not built to integrate youth, we are about wining , and Mr E certainly got props for bringing in Alonso and Luiz on deadline day after Marina had been unable to secure Conte's targets . Just because someone hails from a particular country should not make them above reproach, just as defending them on the basis of them being from a certain country is also wrong . Its about the individual and the job they perform be it ,Marina ME, Cahill, Willian, Costa, the board or the merch vendors, to the ticket agencies not about where they are from .
