Chelsea Agree Personal Terms For Danilo

Chelsea Agree Personal Terms For Danilo

It appears Chelsea are closing in on another defensive signing as the transfer window finally begins to pick up. The Express are this morning reporting that the Real Madrid right back Danilo has agreed personal terms with the Blues on a deal that will see him link up with fellow countryman David Luiz.

Antonio Conte is certainly starting to build his Chelsea team from the back. Following the addition of Antonio Rudiger, competition for places in Chelsea`s back line is looking much better.

Having played last season with the same back three for the majority, it was an area that needed strengthening with the extra games coming this term.

Danilo has failed to gain a regular place in Madrid`s starting eleven under Zinedine Zidane and is looking for a move away from the Bernabeu.

With terms agreed with the player, it`s up to the clubs to now negotiate the sale, which, the sourced story believes could be as high as £35million. But as we know, these negotiations can be fairly protracted affairs.

I don't really know how good this Danilo guy is. I thought we should have persisted with the Sandro deal.

Hopefully we can sign him, a major improvement on Moses.

If Moses was Brazilian and only known as a WB he would be better regarded - fact. Although we still need cover, that position is exhausting and we got lucky with injury and fatigue last season

Personal terms doesn't mean anything if the club wouldn't accept our bid.

@Pancake, Let's hope if we do sign him, he doesn't take a dive in a big game, get sent off for cheating and literally lose the club a major trophy.

We are still 2 mil off Real's evaluation , they have to come down for this to happen because we are not willing to pay that 2 mil

Like I said, if he was Brazilian or French and not Nigerian - perspective would be different (I'm not Nigerian before you guys start!)

30 mil for a Real bench warmer seems a bit much, especially as his biggest asset is being Sandro's best friend, however its our lack of striking options that is bugging me .. https://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/chelsea-fc-transfer-rumours-news/2017/7/17/15981228/chelsea-not-willing-to-spend-more-than-70-on-a-new-striker

I also hope pancake would slow down. Kyle walker was deemed unwanted by spurs last season. James was deemed unwanted by Madrid. thise thingss do happen. Moses must fight like pedro and earn his place. period! . That said I still feel its Crazy to pay 60 for sandro esp when we have Alonso

Walker was never unwanted by spurs, trippier just made him replaceable. James has gone on loan... so why dont we loan this fella with an option to buy?

Inasmuch as I want Moses to keep that position, I will still welcome competition for him just the way I want it for others

We saw how fatigue set in towards the end of last season and it was very obvious in Moses. He needs someone to always put him on his feet. I was expecting Kennedy to do this.
