Conte`s Hazard Dilemma

Conte`s Hazard Dilemma

There are hopes that Eden Hazard will be fit enough to be considered for selection this weekend when Chelsea entertain Everton, at Stamford Bridge, this Sunday lunch-time.

Ahead of the very entertaining and successful trip to Wembley, to beat Spurs in our second Premier League fixture of the season, Hazard played a part in a specially arranged behind-closed-doors fixture against Queens Park Rangers.

Hazard, as a precautionary measure, wasn`t part of the eighteen selected for the fixture, with Antonio Conte not wanting to risk his jewel in the crown.

However, the Everton fixture might be a different kettle of fish.

But, after the Everton fixture, we`re faced with the first of the international breaks this season and it seems that Hazard is a wanted man.

Reports in the media suggest that the Belgium manager, the former Everton boss Roberto Martinez, is planning to speak to Eden, this Friday, to confirm whether or not he`s recovered sufficiently from the ankle fracture he suffered during an international training session to play a part for his country.

Which leaves Antonio Conte with a dilemma, if he does play Hazard against Everton he`d find it hard to stop the player reporting for international duty, but if he doesn`t it could give Hazard an extra two weeks to get back to full match fitness whilst remaining at Cobham.

A difficult choice!

Whether he plays against Everton or not he shouldn't be made to play for Belgium during this international break, in my opinion, to enable him gain enough match fitness. Recall that he sustained this ankle injury while on international duty for Belgium.

We should be able to beat Everton without Hazard. Pedro and Bakayoko should be fully fit For.that game. However Hazard can be named on the bench just in case

Not worth the risk, rest him this weekend and also for international duty, if he remains in London at least we can monitor & manage his fitness/progress, his absence has been very noticeable.

I think Conte should use him against Everton in the second half, and he should go Belgium for his international duty. Why I said that is because he needs match fitness an a player recovering from his kind of injury need up to 2 to 3 matches to regain full fitness. And when he's back to Chelsea from Belgium we'll have a fully match fit Eden Hazard in our disposal.... Or what do you guys think?

If that will ensure keeping Hazard away from Belgium for this upcoming international fixtures then Conte should not even name him to the everton squad. That will give him ~ 3 full weeks to fully recover fitness and regain strength. Honestly i would have a very bad feeling about Hazard returning so soon to international duty but we know Roberto Martinez could care less so we must protect out prized asset both from Martinez and himself.

Agreed even if we bring him on for the last 10 min's, that ***** Martinez will call him up. Better to wait until after the break.

But the player can decide on his own for his own good.
