Chelsea Target Set to Sign New Contract

Chelsea Target Set to Sign New Contract

A week ago, we ran an article whereby we discussed the future of Antonio Conte.

The suggestion had come to the fore, Click Here whereby the inference was that Chelsea were going to make every effort to bring the Juventus left-back, Alex Sandro to the club.

The idea being, according to the source mentioned at the time, was to placate Conte with a view to making him remain at Chelsea beyond the end of this season.

Unfortunately, if that is the plan it is in danger of being de-railed.

Reports, emerging in the Mail on Sunday suggest that Sandro is going nowhere.

Indeed, in order to hang on to their 26-year-old Brazilian wing-back, Juventus have offered their asset a new deal.

The new deal, according to our aforementioned source, matches the one Chelsea were prepared to offer the player, a cool €7 million a year.

Our source remains quite adamant that Sandro will remain in Turin and that Chelsea will not get their intended target.

I hope Chelsea have got a Plan B!

The only obstacle we have is not Juventus but the player himself. He doesn't want to leave Juventus.
