Could Frank Lampard Fill Emanalo's Vacated Role?
With Michael Emenalo having resigned from his position at Chelsea Football Club, it remains to be seen who fills the void.
In the aftermath of Emenalo`s resignation, speculation linked the legend that is Frank Lampard to the position, which if true would prove to be a move that would get the full approval of the Chelsea support.
But is the speculation just that or is there an element of truth in the inference?
When asked the pertinent question whilst on a coaching secondment in Tokyo, the Evening Standard, is reporting that Frank replied as thus:
'I worked with Michael for seven or eight years and his role at the club coincided with the most successful period in Chelsea's history so I think he deserves a lot of credit from that.
'Everyone at Chelsea wishes him well as he moves on. In terms of myself, I don't know. I'm a Chelsea person, I'd love to be involved with the club long-term in some way. We'll see.'
With regards to the above, would Chelsea appointing Frank Lampard as the successor to Michael Emenalo get your approval.
