Morata Would, One Day, Make a Return to Real Madrid
Although Alvaro Morata only left Real Madrid in the summer, becoming Chelsea`s most expensive signing, it seems that the Spaniard would make a return to the Bernabeu if given the chance.
The 25-year-old has made a good start to his career at Stamford Bridge, scoring 8 goals in his first 15 appearances, including a spectacular headed winner last time out against Manchester United.
But, having already had two stints at Real Madrid, Morata has admitted he would consider a third spell, if offered, sometime in the future.
Interviewed by the Spanish news source, El Larguero, Morata is quoted by the red-top publication the Mirror, as having remarked,
'Of course I would return to Real Madrid, but it's complicated.
'I told the coach I wanted to play more. That I wanted to go is foolishness. I felt important for Madrid, but I wanted to play in the Champions League knockout stages.
'I've never said a bad word of Madrid nor will I say it. Always I wish them the best. I'm a fan of Madrid but a Chelsea player.'
One consolation if Morata were to make a return to Real Madrid is that for such an opportunity to arise he would have to become a prolific scorer with Chelsea.
