Hazard Will Decide His Future in May

Come the end of the season, we`re all hoping that Chelsea will be parading some silverware.

But, the onset of another summer transfer window, will see the speculation relating to the future of our jewel-in-the-crown, Eden Hazard, ramp up again.

This morning, lurking in the pages of the Independent, are some comments attributed to Eden which he made about his future in an interview with the media source Canal+.

In the interview, Hazard remains very cagey about his future, remarking,

"The moment to leave will be when I want to leave.

"I want to finish this year and then we will see what happens. Everybody knows the admiration that I have for Real Madrid.

"But for the moment I am a Blue. Each year people say stuff about Eden, and each year I have always stayed at the club.

"When I was at Lille, people started saying PSG, I stayed at Lille. Chelsea every year I am mentioned with PSG and Real Madrid… If you want to see me go somewhere you need to stop asking me."

Is he staying or is he going?

Perhaps if the media continue to speculate about a move to Real Madrid the 26-year-old might, as his comments suggest, remain.

We can only but wait and see!

I have the feeling this is going to be a very big year for Hazard personally, even if the team doesn't pick up silverware. He's stepping up in Europe as well as domestically and this will make teams notice. Hopefully he stays for a while but when he goes, we need to demand a World Record fee because nothing else would be good enough
