Conte Fined £8,000 by the Football Association
Against Swansea, back in November, Antonio Conte was sent to the stands for the first time in English football.
His heinous crime was to merely dispute a decision made by the referee, Neil Swarbrick, which saw a goal-kick awarded as opposed to a corner.
Mind you, Antonio had also been giving the fourth official some serious verbal relating to Swansea`s time-wasting.
Having been sent to the stand, Antonio was gracious enough to apologise to the referee, admitting,
'I made a mistake. With my players I suffer. It's a pity.'
But that hasn`t stopped the 48-year-old from being fined by the Football Association.
Today it was announced that Conte must pay a fine of £8,000 for his misdemeanour.
Probably small change for the Italian but it`s still an inconvenience I`d imagine.
