Your MOTM Against Southampton Was

Chelsea played Southampton as their more topsy, than turvey season continues. Victory was sealed with a crafty Marcos Alonso free kick that beat Fraser Forster, who had thwarted every other Chelsea effort on goal.

For the watching faithful, it was nerve jangling to say the least. With hard work, Antonio Conte`s team are trying to establish a gap between third and fourth spot, whilst pursuing the two Manchester clubs.

As we like to after a game, we asked who you felt was the man-of-the-match, having grabbed those three crucial points.

First place turned out to be the match winner, as is so often the case, unless your name`s Willian. Marcos Alonso picked up 51% of the votes cast. Alonso is fast becoming a free kick specialist, and if he continues scoring goals, Conte will have to consider him an automatic pick.

The remaining 49% of the votes were evenly spread among eight players.

Fabregas 9%
Pedro 8%
Hazard 7%
Morata 7%
Moses 5%
Courtois 5%
Kante 4%
Willian 4%

In the current front page poll, we`re continuing our look at who you believe to be in Chelsea`s best starting XI. We`re carrying on looking at who is the best fit in central midfield. Already in the side are N`golo Kante and Cesc Fabregas, this poll is looking for the third pick. Please vote wisely
