Falcao £25m deal imminent !! At long last , could the pursuit actually reach fruition ?

Unless Falcao can regain his former quality , I truly am afraid this might turn out to be a mistake

Nope, please no. We do not need washed up strikers at all.

One would have thought they would learn their lesson from the Shevchenko and Torres experiences or perhaps take a look at what happened to Michael Owen. Strikers that suffer serious injuries and lose their sharpness don't pick up their old form. For a loan it's a risk one could envisage taking, if you're a real optimist who is willing to put his failings at United down to adjusting to the pace of the game in England. But this is a guy who couldn't get into the side ahead of a waning Van Persie and a below par Rooney. £25million is too steep a price for the player when you can get someone young and on the up like Lacazette for a similar price. And if we can get Higuain for around £30million, that would be so so so much better!

I'd rather keep Drogba for another season, that is how much I am against. 37 year old Drogba at least knows what to do. Costa, Remy and any one of Higuain, Lacazette,Ings, Austin, Benteke over Falcao any day!

If Remy really is to leave us for good, they better not play that 'go and develop some more on loan' game with Bamford this term. Especially since no other, proper, top form, 'hot' striker purchase seems to be happening with us.

where's all the money Roman, '150 million transfer chest', 'war-chest', 'to splash mega bucks for new season', 'green signal to Mourinho' etcetcetcetc and what not news everyday in the media ...... what happened? all the hot air leaked out?
