Tell Us About Yourself (2) - Soum
Is there a better way to kick-start our revitalised feature than with the very Vital Chelsea member that suggested it?

Step forward Vital Chelsea member - Soum

1 - Your Vital Chelsea user name?

Username: Soum Real Name: Soumya

2 - When did you first start supporting Chelsea?

In 2005 after a certain Chelsea-Barcelona CL match which won my heart over!!

3 - How old are you?

24

4 - Where do you live?

I am from a small town of Bhubaneswar, India but work and stay at Bangalore, India

5 - Your occupation is?

Research Analyst in Finance and Governance

6 - Your favourite Chelsea memory is?

My very first Chelsea game which hooked me up with the team. That match was Chelsea-Barcelona where we drilled 4 against them. Second favourite memory will always be that night in Munich this year !!

7 - Your worst Chelsea memory is?

Always that ghost goal by Liverpool in the CL semi-finals, at times when the team goes down without giving up a fight (more frequent now-a-days, sadly) and I can't also resist mentioning this season's Chelsea-ManU game where Mark Clattenburg ruined the game and our downwards slide started.

8 - Your favourite all-time Chelsea player is?

As I came in a bit late, i.e., in 2005, it will always be Frank Lampard, but of late, the gentleman but lethal Juan Mata !! Not to forget our savior in many occasions, Petr Cech!

9 - Your best ever Chelsea goal is?

There has to be many, but the one standout which gave me the best 'orgasmic' feeling was none other than that header by Drogba in the CL final where we equalized with Munich!

10 - Your thoughts on Vital Chelsea?

Brilliant platform, brilliant writers, brilliant analysis and brilliant members! With a little bit of more efforts, it can be developed into a strong and popular community too!

I can see why that game would create supporters. It was a mesmerising match indeed. You got to see the brilliance of Mourinho's Chelsea coupled with the unplayability of Ronaldinho in one neat package. It's always nice when Merlin takes such initiatives. Thank you for sharing your thoughts soum.

Nice reading soum. I share your enthusiasm regarding VC. Different background, religion and nationalities, yet we are all united under the beautiful flag of Chelsea FC
